The Dan River Mill No. 8

Encompassing more than 500,000 sq. ft., the rehabilitation of the Dan River Mill No. 8 represents one of the largest, single reuse projects in Southern Virginia. We worked collaboratively on this project with the development team and owner’s representatives to preserve this historically significant site in partnership with the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and the National Park Service. The tax credit equity allows not only the preservation of this notable, early twentieth century industrial mill, but for the creation of nearly 200 permanent jobs in the Danville community. The project is currently in the first phase of construction.
